Psi Games 2026
Bringing psychic abilities to the general public.
For the second time ever, the Psi Games were held at the end of July, 2026; this time in North Carolina, USA. Psi Games serves the role of an international “Psi Olympics” and it’s stated purpose is to make these capabilities more widely known, while having fun along the way. That’s definitely my vibe. (See https://psigamesinternational.com)
So I came in person, and brought my 7-year-old daughter as they encouraged children to come (for free). For this article, I’ll assume the questions you have, and give you my honest answer. If you have more questions, add to the comments.
For reference, these are the categories of abilities involved:
Remote Viewing
Mind Sight
Precognition
Psychokinesis (telekinesis)
Dowsing
Were there people very accurate at psychic perception?
Yes! At some tasks, some people were 100% accurate. This applied primarily to “mind sight” where the person is perceiving something near them, in front of them, with a heavy duty blindfold. Putting the object behind their head seems to use a different process of perception that not all practitioners are accurate with (but some are).
Precognition seemed to have the poorest performance as even the winner got most incorrect (the task was guessing numbers before they were chosen), but it wasn’t a complete failure either.
For remote viewing, as an example the winner correctly perceived that the location was historically significant, educational, and a solid metal structure; it was the Eiffel Tower.
For dowsing, the winner did well: they managed to identify a piece of paper with the correct answer on it, among many pieces of paper (this wasn’t traditional dowsing involving finding something in the ground). Dowsing overlaps with ESP but involves sensing a location in space.
Overall, the performance was impressive, especially considering that they did this quickly under pressure.
Did people really do telekinesis live?
Probably? They used the Egely wheel, but decided to not put anything in between the practitioner’s hands and the Egely wheel. This is how they attempted to make it objective:
The Egely wheel was in a glass container with slots for the practitioner’s arms, for minimal air flow.
The direction that the wheel needed to move, changed during the session, so the practitioner had to change directions multiple times.
One participant performed much, much better than the others. But this participant also did a much better job of cupping his hand close around the wheel for optimal influence of heat and air, and moved his hand to the other side to change directions. The winner’s hands were also extremely tense while remaining still. In contrast, I noticed at least one participant looked like they were trying to do telekinesis primarily with their mind and not through putting their hands extremely close and tensing.
My honest takeaway: this demonstration was an embarassment to the field and I hope in the future they’ll have an objective psychokinesis task for sincere practitioners, even if it’s in addition to this one. However, most likely some psychokinesis was involved and tensing may have been part of that process. The distinction betweeen nonphysical and physical energies are inevitably blurred; I’m just dissappointed that they didn’t distinguish the two. I’m curious how the individuals qualified for the task, and I’ll see if I can quality next year.
What did you learn? Were your own beliefs challenged?
We perceive with our skin cells (?)
I learned something unexpected: physical factors can make significant differences in psi perception or “mind sight.” One individual who gave demonstrations had both eyes completely removed earlier in his life, so had no vision through his physical eyes. They put a blindfold on him, plus a shield to block vision. He was still able to perceive most things correctly. However, when they took off the shield, he said his perception significantly improved. When they took off the blindfold, his perception improved even more. Why?
In the movie Superhuman 2 which we previewed at the event, a scientist explained that our cells interact with light, and perhaps our cells actually perceive light even without eyes, particularly through our pineal gland. This blind person was certainly evidence of that to me. Those who practice mindsight often work with light, even shining light at the practitioner’s eyes through the blindfold to help them perceive without eyes, or shining light at the object they’re trying to perceive.
Another tip I learned is that mind sight is more effective when smiling, and all the competitors made sure to put on a smile for that reason.
Meeting other leaders in the space
Overall I found the experience very humbling. There are people who have been teaching these abilities, particularly mind sight, for decades and are quite effective at it. I was also in the presence of those who are working on scientific breakthroughts in the space, such as Rizwan Virk, author of The Simulation Hypothesis and Joseph Campbell who wrote My Big Toe.
I find myself particularly interested in VibraVision as it combines martial arts and psychic ability, though this training is also particularly expensive (about $5000).
Does this mean psychic abilities are already mainstream?
Unfortunately, no, but Psi Games does play an important role in this process by bringing together people who are actively working on making psi mainstream, those who are incredibly proficient at psi tasks, and those who are curious and want to see it for themselves.
I’m excited to collaborate more with those who attended the event, and to prepare for next year! If you want to practice together or are looking to join a team to participate in the Psi Games, let me know. The Psychic Accountability group I started is open and completely free.

One thing that stood out was the emphasis on teaching children. They had a "kids room" which my daughter spend most of her time at, sometimes practicing ESP, plus just doing creative things. And there were people there who teach children psi abilities for a living (mostly in person it seems).
